It was packed with people at the show
some of them said hello

The stage is the loneliest place I’ve ever been
I was looking for your face,

But I couldn’t find it in the crowd,
which isn’t so strange considering how
you’re probably asleep in Stockholm now

But the audience was nice,
they wanted me to sing the last song twice,
but I didn’t
Afterwards I realized, it’s a fact
the backstage belongs to the friends of the opening act
(Which strangely wasn’t me)
Then they gave me insanely many drinking tickets
I had to finish all on my own
Of course, I’ll have an profanely wicked depression tomorrow
If I find myself alone I’m gonna call you on the phone
