In The Mood For A Tattoo
03:43
|
|||
There’s nothing like it, can’t be described
There’s nothing like it even if you do survive
and let’s say, we never met, we never will
and let’s play, with our regrets from here until…
Eternity is a dangerous word
One of those words I wish I never heard,
when the time is now
It’s now or never, from here until forever
I’ll be here until forever
The stars may glow but they’re too old to know
When the sky says wait, it’s already too late
The stars say no, but I’m too young to know
when the sky say wait, it’s already too late
I heard a scientist said my lucky star might be dead
Something stolen, something blue
I’m in the mood for a tattoo
Something borrowed, something new
I’m in the mood for a tattoo
And like the stars will follow you wherever you are
your lucky scar will follow you wherever you are
And once you know just how it goes,
it’s not so scary anymore
so close the windows and shut the door!
I want revenge, I want something sweet
and it hurts so good, with every bite I eat
Let’s say, we never met, we never will
and let’s play, let’s play…
Something stolen, something blue
I’m in the mood for a tattoo
Something borrowed, something new
I’m in the mood for a tattoo
And like the stars will follow you wherever you are
your lucky scar will follow you wherever you are
The time is now, now or never
from here until forever
I’ll be here until forever

The first time I saw you, you never saw me
But now I couldn’t care less if my hair was a mess
the last time you saw me
And now you say you love me now, you love me now
you love me now, you love me now
you love me now, you love me now
do you love me now? do you love me now?
Love might turn to hate, if you let it wait, now it’s too late
I’m not upset at all, I must have missed your call
I used to long to see, you at every party
or rather gallery opening cause you’re so f*n “arty”
It’s been two full years, and now time is up my dear
isn’t it a coincidence that we meet, out here on my street
and you ask me when’s my next show cause you would like to go
you said you liked “my sound”
(hey, have you been following me around?)
Cause apparently you love me now
you love me now
you love me now, you love me now
do you love me now? you love me now?
do you love me now? do you love me now?

More Certain Than Death
03:42
|
|||
I was young but I didn’t know it
Oh, I was young, that’s what they told me
Everything looks so small when it’s far away
My minds an open road and I’m leaving today
More certain than death,
I’m more certain than death
Pack your bags with your favourite dresses
and your sorrows
Once I get my license I’ll drive you to tomorrow
More certain than death,
I’m more certain than death
I was young but I didn’t know it
Oh, I was young
That’s what they told me

When I Have No Words
04:32
|
|||
When I have no words
I stay in bed
If I had no heart, I’d be dead
Every scar has its history
two letters and heart carved in a tree
Every scar has its history
two letters and heart carved into me
Sweet Benjamin, don’t cry
Things we do to survive
Sweet Benjamin, don’t cry
Sweet Benjamin, don’t cry
Things we do to survive
Sweet Benjamin, don’t cry
When I have no words, I stay in bed
(Burning cars and bridges,
bleeding hearts and stitches)
If I had no heart, I’d be dead
(Burning cars and bridges,
bleeding hearts and stitches)
Every scar has its history
two letters and heart carved in a tree
(Burning cars and bridges,
bleeding hearts and stitches)
Every scar has it’s history
two letters and heart carved into me
Do sirens keep you awake, like wah wah wah
Does the silence keep you awake, like why why why

Berlin, Berlin
03:04
|
|||
Berlin, Berlin
Berlin, Berlin
Berlin, Berlin
Nu har det blivit kallt,
men du har ju redan sett allt
Du är hårdare än mig
alla söker ju skydd hos dig
Det finns vackrare städer än du
men alla vill ha dig nu
Dina ärr, dina smutsiga lakan
alla nätter som du höll mig vaken
Du kommer förstå,
när det blivit ljust måste jag gå
Berlin, Berlin
Berlin, Berlin
Berlin, Berlin

Europa
04:30
|
|||
The borders are only lines in the sand,
the borders are divided by land
(and invented by men)
The birds all fly high in the sky
but the birds have never heard
About Europe
About you, about Europe
About Europe
About you, about Europe
the girls with bright eyes ride away on dreams of lies
(Into Europe)
The sun has always been setting in the west
so the sun must know where the setting is the best
What mother’s nightmares can’t bear
a cruel world does on its own
She said she’d call once she’s there
(Must be something wrong with the phone?)
The phones all over Europe
In E.U., in Europe
In Europe, E.U., in Europe
Is the future any brighter?
Is the darkness any lighter?
In Europe?
I met Joy in London, she used to
love to sing but now she’s not singing about anything
You gotta work to make your way,
you better work if you wanna stay
so now she’s working for you
Now she’s working for you, for Europe
No matter how many times that story has been told
how history repeats itself and some stories never grow old
(And they call her Europe)
Is the future any brighter?
Is the darkness any lighter?
In Europe

I Whisper In My Ear
03:38
|
|||
When I whisper in my ear:
“One day I’ll get you far away from here”
In my ear
“One day I’ll get you far away from here”
When I whisper in my ear,
I tell myself all the things I need to hear
In my ear
I tell myself all the things I need to hear
When I whisper in my ear, I’ve been doing it for years
When I’m low, lower than the ground
I always hear, I hear a whispering sound
Then I know I’ll keep whispering when I’m older
Then I know I’ll keep whispering when I’m older
I feel a warm hand on my shoulder,
a warm hand on my shoulder
And I whisper this too shall pass,
and everything will work out at last
I’ll keep my promise to this kid,
I’ll keep my promise to this kid, I always did
I put a warm hand on its shoulder,
a warm hand on it’s shoulder
When I whisper in my ear
I tell myself all the things I need to hear
and not to fear, cause
“I’m right here”
When I whisper in my ear
When I whisper in my ear

The Crisis
05:01
|
|||
C.R.I.S.I.S.
It’s all over the news
even the millionaires are getting the blues
When you ain’t got nothing to lose
You ain’t got no reason
ain’t got no reason to be blue
C.R.I.S.I.S.
And the depression, depression under pressure
Cry cry cry - crisis
And the depression, depression under pressure
Cry cry cry - crisis
C - The Complexity
R - Requires expertise
I - International
S. I. S. SOS
And the depression, depression under pressure
Cry! Cry! Cry! Crisis!
And the depression, depression under pressure
Cry! Cry! Cry! Crisis!
Is it a disease? No no no
Is it affecting me? Yeah yeah yeah
The Crisis!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
And the depression, depression under pressure
Cry! Cry! Cry! Crisis!
And the depression, depression under pressure
Cry! Cry! Cry! Crisis!

Asleep In Stockholm
04:13
|
|||
I’m glad to see the snow is back
cause the nights were too black without it
And now the streets all glow, covered in snow
and I wanna catch a cab, but I’m only catching a cold
It was packed with people at the show
some of them said hello
Some of them I think I know
You know the drill, you go out there try not to get killed
The stage is the loneliest place I’ve ever been
I was looking for your face,
you’ve got the friendliest face I’ve ever seen
But I couldn’t find it in the crowd,
which isn’t so strange considering how
you’re probably asleep in Stockholm now
But the audience was nice,
they wanted me to sing the last song twice,
but I didn’t
Afterwards I realized, it’s a fact
the backstage belongs to the friends of the opening act
(Which strangely wasn’t me)
Then they gave me insanely many drinking tickets
I had to finish all on my own
Of course, I’ll have an profanely wicked depression tomorrow
If I find myself alone I’m gonna call you on the phone
The stage is the loneliest place I’ve ever been
I was looking for your face,
You’ve got the friendliest face I’ve ever seen
But I couldn’t find it in the crowd
which isn’t so strange considering how
you’re probably asleep in Stockholm now
